Daily Thoughts 04/23/2021

I checked the new book displays.

I put in some orders for new books.

I weeded some books in the 800 mezzanine.

On the way to work, I read some of How to Lead Wisdom from the World's Greatest CEOs, Founders and Game Changers by David M. Rubinstein.  This is a collection of interviews with prominent  leaders on how to lead.  I have read the interview of Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Sir Richard Branson, Oprah Winfrey, and Warren Buffett so far.

We spent some time discussing a program where we plan on reading poems on Wednesday, the 28 of April.  It is national poetry month.

Summer Reading is coming up in July and August of 2021.  We are probably going to buy some promotional materials for the library.

I spent some time checking the New York Times Bestseller list and the Publishers Weekly Bestseller list.
