I checked the new book displays this morning.

We had a retirement party for a person who worked at our library for over 20 years.  There was food, music, and dancing.  She got a card and a plaque.  It was a nice thing to happen.

I spent some time weeding in the 800s.

I also watched the Mount Vernon Public Library Board of Trustees meeting on Facebook.

I read some more of The Catalogue of Shipwrecked Books.  The title comes from an experience where the author had put together a catalogue of books.  However, many of the books were lost in a shipwreck. I worked on two orders of new books. I spent a little more time preparing for the census. A colleague and I discussed programming. I checked some damaged books. I also suggested some items to be moved to the mezzanine.
