Daily Thoughts 02/12/2021
I checked the library Twitter and Facebook Group this morning.
I finished reading The Human Cosmos Civilization and the Stars by Jo Marchant. The author ends the book with a reminder that human beings for a long time have lived with a sense of awe about the cosmos and we need to be more connected to the sky like we used to be.
I read some more of Stay Woke. I am reading about when is the time best time to meditate. There is a reminder that it is hard to meditate after you have eaten something; you concentrate on your stomach, not your thoughts.
I am also reading The Macedonian Incident. I am enjoying the characters from the different time periods. There is often a lot of research and history in writing in a good alternative history. The authors have to try and figure out how the people from different time periods would act.
