Daily Thoughts 12/09/2020

I checked the library Twitter and Facebook this morning.

I read some more of Team Human.  I am reading about how digital industries are often winner take all, with only a limited group of people making it to the top.

I also read some more of Lovecraft Country.  The setting is the America of the 1950s.  The book has many references to Jim Crow and how unsafe traveling was for African Americans.  This is combined with Lovecraftian horror.  It makes for an odd juxtaposition.
