I checked the library Twitter and Facebook Group this morning.

I read some more of  The Writer's Library.  I am reading an interview of Louise Erdrich.

I checked the displays this morning.

I spent some time today deleting missing items from the catalog.

I put in some orders for new books.

I am planing to do some weeding in the fiction section in the mezzanine tomorrow.  I will be checking the shelves directly.

I looked over some damaged material.

I picked out some outdated material as well from the computers and the library science section.

I put in two orders for new books. I did some weeding in the mezzanine in the 800s. I wrote a little bit about programs which we plan to do in the coming months. We have been doing the summer reading program. More people have started to come back in.  It is very quiet right now.   Carnegie Library, Houston, Texas, 1907 Daily Thoughts 08/10/2021 I checked the new books display this morning. I read a copy of the New York Times Book Review and the New York Review of Books. I worked on orders of new books. I worked an order of new books focused on local authors and independent authors. I sent in my monthly report for August. I did some weeding in the 800s in the mezzanine. I worked a little bit on grants.
