Virgil Writing His Epitaph at Brindisi by Angelica Kauffman, 1785
Daily Thoughts 09/23/2020
I checked the library Twitter and Facebook Group this morning.
I worked on a grant some more today.
I put in two orders of material for new books.
I ordered some material as giveaways for the census.
I read a copy of Bookpage.
One of the people laid off who is part time came by. I am hoping that I can hire them back to cover the computers.
I have a copy of Booklist to read.
I am doing the desk for curbside pickup.
One of our patrons, Dona Elena Hatcher, wrote a book of poetry, Word Dances, Poems on Pointe! She attended a variety of poetry programs a while ago.
I read some more of The Catalogue of Shipwrecked Books. I am reading about how Hernando Colon worked as a surveyor for making maps as well as on a dictionary for Latin.
I read the latest copy of Library Journal.
