Don Quixote in the Library, Adolf Schrodter, 1834
Daily Thoughts 08/06/2020
I checked the library Twitter and Facebook Group this morning.
I read some more of Until the End of Time. I am reading about how leaving a legacy of poetry or writing can lead to a kind of immortality.
I also read a little bit more of Stamped From the Beginning by Ibram X. Kendi. I am reading about the history of racism starting with Aristotle and his ideas about different people act differently because of climate.
I also plan on going to the census meeting at Mount Vernon City Hall tonight at 6:00 p.m.
The library is closed because of a power outage today.
